Because it IS easier said than done. You are projecting what you want to do yourself. Lots of people help others when they 90% have the same problems going on and it is difficult to deal with things that's why we look to our friends. Also we know what we want to do but we need that extra push from out friends.

Because when your on the outside looking in it gives it a different perspective. We can all seem to help by giving our suggestions, and help, but when it comes to our problems, we don't look at them the way we do others.

It is easier to do this because when we deal with our own problems we find it hard to be really honest with one self. So helping a friend is easier since you have the ability to stand back from the problem he/she has and view it more objectively.

Helping yourself is so hard. But, if your honest with yourself, the solution can last forever.

What a great question. I've struggled with this all my life. In my real career, I help people. I'm great at it. But when it come to my own affairs, I neglect them. I hope you get a lot of answers because I sure do wonder about this!!!

Because, when u r in trouble ur mind will be stuck in this trouble and it won't be easy to find out the solution for this. The other people can see it with their objective eyes and know well how to solve it.

Because we are too close to our own situations to see things clearly most of the time. That is why it is so often helpful to seek outside input.

Well that's because interpersonal habilities are more oftenhigher than intrapersonal abilities, we as social beings tend to help easier others than ourselves, we help other unconsciously expecting that others are going to help us.

it's easy to give advice, but it takes discipline to actually do what you you advise people to do. Sometimes it's easier to be on the outside looking in.
