Does it mean he wants to see other woman on the side or he doesnt want to be in a relationship right now? He says its just the wording.

Ok i read some of the answers that were turned in. We are intimate and that's where I am having a problem. I have asked him if he is ready to be in a relationship with me and he says not yet. How long do I wait for him?

Actually, I don't think there is a difference.

There is no difference really, unless you want to make one. You have a relationship of some sort with every person you interact with. Generally, when dating, you may have a dating-relationship with someone that you haven't committed to each other to be exclusive with...and if you do become exclusive, then the phrase generally used is being in a relationship...just saying you two are 'dating' at that point, doesn't tend to imply the exclusivity...

...but it's your 'relationship', you can call it whatever you want...

i'm freakin happy you requested this! :) i became wondering an similar ingredient me and my guy had determined that we were going to bypass on dates, yet no longer be reputable, cuz he says courting gradually starts a great number of issues (his mum and dad don't like secure courting) and that i became like ok, yet we've been very unique :) he says he loves me and that i love him, he will be going away for a pair years (on a challenge) and that i'll bypass to varsity, i have been soliciting for months what are we!? yet i'm his female friend and that i do not care what absolutely everyone says he's my boyfriend :) i imagine of it like that. I probly did not help yet ya!

I agree, it's just the wording. Maybe it feels safer to say dating exclusively than a "relationship". A lot of people are scared of that word...me being one of them.

There isnt a huge difference. It just gives men the impression (they think) that they arent in an exculsive relationship and still (they think) hold on to the last string of bachlorhood they have....Make him be more clear with you...

It's just the phrasing. It means the same thing.
