My sister is 47 and I am 37. I am happily married and a successful teacher. My sister is unmarried and a dishwasher at a restaurant. She is spiteful, controling and mean. Any time she does not like something, she takes the opportunity to bring up things from at least 5 years ago to defend how "she lost me." The event was meeting my husband on the internet. She won't forgive me for meeting someone online. Long story.... but she is poison to me and I know it. I don't want her in my life, yet I keep hoping things will get better knowing it won't. How do I move on. It is so easy to say "forget her" or "she's a jerk." I keep hearing my mom say "sisters forever." Let me tell you this isn't "my side" and her story is against me. I have many stories of proof with witnesses that can't believe her behavior (especially at my wedding). I'm at wits end. I need to move on, but don't know how.

He has no way to make money, I live off of a very, very, small trust fund ( 125 a week, but I get my utilities paid for and the house is owned) and he expects me to completely take care of him. We have been together for 10 yrs., but this is truly taking a toll on me. Any advice folks? I just cant kick him out, but he needs to find another way to support himself....I am truly at a loss everybody..........

I am looking for a serious relationship, and I met this really cute guy. But I feel like he is a player, but there is no evidence. Is there any clue to identify?

People say that they fall "madly in love" with someone and would die for them. Would you literally die for the one you love?

Do you think you will get it?

I had surgery years ago and because of it my teeth are going yucky. I'm getting them fixed soon but I feel embarrased that people may think I have poor hygiene - which I don't. I really like a man I met at a bus stop - he asked for my phone number but since then I have lost a front tooth - he rang and wants to go out for coffee this weekend. I don't know how to hide it without looking like an idiot. Mind you, I suppose if he's a decent guy he won't care but I care. I'm 35 and while I'm not desperate to find someone, I do want to start dating again after an 8 year break but with my teeth in the shape they're in I'm afraid of loads of knockbacks. I'm also rather cuddly - definitely not obese but I have love handles!! Lol!! Are there men out there for whom these flaws of mine would not be a problem? I would love some answers as this is something I have been worrying about for quite a while and it's driving me mad!! Thank you and I hope whoever is reading this is having a wonderful week!

just feel like this lately...

My husband had a brief affair with a younger woman while at an event out of town (I was 32; she was 22.) Husband told me about the affair - lots of ups and downs - but we stayed together. I had to be around the younger woman for a weekend event 2 years later. I introduced myself and was very polite. She said I was "very nice" and she "felt bad" about what happened. I didn't really want her pity - but we got through the weekend.

Fast forward to 3 years later. (Five years after the original affair.) My husband sees her again at another event and they start up a cell-phone/email relationship. I find out about it. **** hits the fan ... but we stay together (again).

Now one year later we are taking a trip to an event that this woman will be at! I don't really want to "be nice" again - even though I know it is my husband (not her) who is the problem. However, the thought of being around her makes me ill! Should I ignore her? Say something catty? Swallow my pride and be nice

It seems to be evident that a guy would like a girl who is really intelligent, has big goals, and can take care of her self. It seems, however, that guys are always with the dumb, empty minded, dependant (upon mommy and daddy) type girls. The dumb dependant girls that I know are always told that they are so CUTE and I am in the background gagging. My friends and I are very attractive, intelligent, pay our own way, and have big goals in life. We are always told that we are so awesome and different from most girls (ie the dumb depdnt ones) however...the catch is we are all single. what gives?!

We have such a blast together!Go on bike rides, rollerblading, going driving. Just..anything. We have SO many plans, and it all just seems to work. I KNOW that he likes me, but I dont really know what to say without being pushy about it. Cause we've already talked about it, so he already knows how I feel! I want so bad just to be his girlfriend. But im not going to force him into the relationship, I want to KNOW that he feels the same way about me. I've known him for....well..9-10 years...we've been great friends for about 5-6 of those years. Sometimes when its just him and I..I just want to hug him or kiss him, and tell him everything that I feel, but it would be too awkward at the same time, simply because..I dont know EXACTLY how he feels..and I want him to make the first move! Its soo COMPLICATED!! I just..I guess, I just don't want to keep on guessing what he thinks, or making every moment that he's sitting RIGHT NEXT to me a question mark. I want to KNOW that I can hold his hand!
