Okay I'm a dad and its fathers day. I am dating a very nice woman and I am in love with her. That last time I heard from her was last night when she left me this awesome message on my cell phone, it made my night. Then today I haven't heard a word. It's fathers day shouldn't she at least call me and wish me a happy fathers day? I know that her fahter left her when she was 5 years old. Maybe today is just to painful for her. I'm bothered by the fact she hasn't called me and hurt. However we have only been seeing each other for the past 6 months but we are both in love with each other. Do you think I'm over reacting to this? Thanx

Children are people that need to be conceived between two loving and financially supportive parents. Too many babies are being born into poverty so that their mothers can claim welfare checks, food stamps and free housing. It's not fair to the children and to the people who actually work for a living. Our checks are being drained to support familes who wont get off their asses and work instead of staying home making more babies for the government to support. There are plenty of health clinics that offer free birth control methods. It hardly cost a thing to prevent yourself from getting pregnant.

I have been married to her for 15 years. When I woke up the morning of our "honeymoon" I thought to myself I can make this work for the kids. I have lasted this long but am to the point of feeling 80% of the time that I just don't like almost everything about her. I keep having this dream of being in that "movie" type of true love where I just want to be with this woman and love looking at her and being with her and talking to her. I long to love someone but do not want to screw up my teenage son. Our daughter is 21 and out of the house and she wonders how I stay with her mom the way she has been for the past couple of years. I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding.. she has registered at a few different places for things for her house, kitchen, bathroom, etc.. My son has bevavior problems and is destroying the family. He has no repect for anyone -lies, steals, smokes weed, is out all night, wrecks things, has terrible hygine, wont follow rules, wont think for himself..and now he wont listen at all. We are tired of locking up everything and dealing with this day after day. Now my commonlaw says thats it- he doesnt feel safe and cant live like this anymore. He gives up and wont help me with the 'behavior management' the psycolgist recommended. He says its my problem. I recently caught him flirting via email with a woman at his work- he says he did it because hes not happy at home. I though about just leaving but my son is even WORSE when im alone with him...and we recently decieded to have a baby and Im 2 months pregnant. I dont feel I can handle my son alone and I dont want to have this baby alone. I cant help but think that my spouse is a jerk for putting this all on me and then flirting (cheated 2x before) Been togther 4 yrs

She's 18. He's 47. They're the best of friends. Truly. She loves him, he loves her (as all friends should). She likes him more than a friend. He knows it. They make out- nothing more. He says he likes her BUT he has a girl friend, who he also likes. It's a weird situtation. I know. He goes out with both of them (not at the same time- in fact the two girls have never met) . What on earth does that make them? Lovers?- i don't think so. Let me know.

This guy I am seeing says he is only still married because he has filed for bancruptcy. Says she lives in her own room, and his teenage sons know he goes out with me and seem fine with it I guess. Why are they still living in the same house? Do you have to stay married while going through a chapter 13 bancruptcy?

my girl and i have been together for 6 yrs and she told me she was ready for marriage and i was over joyed. but i told her that she needed to get her own place for 6 mos. to learn some responsibility and to understand what it's like to be on your own. that way she will appeciated life a lot more. she has never lived on her own. she never even bought a car on her own .she is 25 years old. i cook and clean and take care of our son all of the time-alone. and i'm the bread winner. I never get so much as a thank you. if i don't cook or clean she just asks why? i told her she didn't appreciate a man like me and if she was on her own she would have to do all this **** BY HERSELF!!!. i told her that i still love her but life can teach her lessons that i can't. i told her i still want to be a couple & i would be there for her. but since she's had her own place she won't half talk to me and plays games with me seeing my son!! i didn't intend for this to become a game only a learning experience

I have just this problem, and the woman responsible knows I wont rise to the bait. She is brash and bullying and scares me and my children. I want to get the police involved but she says if I do, members of her family will take over. I feel like punching her but I dont want my children to think that this is the way to deal with bullies. What is more surprising, I was brought up much the same as this women in an abusive enviroment, its just that I have learnt that there is more to life. How can I explain to her the same without sounding condescending?

I wrote in side the card. I"i had no plans on sending you a fathers day card {so much for that } on my way to hallmark to get my grandfather a card i decided to get you 1 as well. Just to see how t will feel to send someone a card. Well anywho i feel like i just wasted 2.49. i almost got your father a father day card, but i felt i would be disrespectful to my grandfather to do so. i dont really know where i am going with this but i really would like to talk to your mom.(my grandmother) but i dont know how long i could hold my breathe before i pass out but who knows (waiting for her to call)
