I'm sure these things have a role in marriage, especially with abstinence in fashion. I think that the use of belts would put the emphasis on developing a practical working relationship and take the emphasis off sex and physical satisfaction.

A bride should wear a belt on dates and meetings with her boyfriend before and during her engagement period until at least the end of the ceremony

The wife should wear a belt for the first few weeks/months of marriage, removing it for one night of the honeymoon and replacing it after that.

Tthe wife should wear a belt if her husband is performing unsatisfactorily in any regard, only taking the belt off when the behaviour has improved and stayed improved for six weeks.

Other uses of belts?

I watched a movie this weekend, and in the first scene a man comes home to his gorgeous home, gorgeous wife, and two gorgeous girls. The girls ran to him saying 'daddy, daddy, daddy'. Smiling from ear to ear, he kissed his kids and his wife. He seemed pretty happy, but the next scene showed the man looking off into space. He then hired a private investigator to find an old girlfriend. He lied to his wife and then went to go visit this (also married) woman.

Are men ever satisfied with what they have?

so here it is, my husband of 3yrs, and we have been together for 5yrs is begeinning to seem like he is predjudice towards my race im not sure but i think its the people he works with that made him feel ashamed of me. i am half spanish and half caucasion but look much more spanish than anything and he is nearly the same race but looks much more caucasion. this is how it all began, my husband asked if i would like to go to a barbeque where he works and i said that i dont think his boss cares for me much even though we had never spoke just brief encounters, his responce was maybe he thinks your mexican and even if i was what is wrong with that! a few days later i told him i might want to get a job at trader joes, his responce was you dont want to work there, their predjudice the next day we were talking about trader joes and he said he would like to be a manager there. all this just made me think so trader joes is good enough for him but not for me cause he thinks i look mexican

Do you think some women should wear a good chastity belt? For instance:

Under 18s on first dates
Under 18s on dates
Women out of the house at night (rape protection)
Newly married Wives before and for a while after the ceremony

My husband is extremely depressed and has a history of bipolar disorder as well as OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder).. Lately he had detached himself from me and our kids. He writes things about being numb of feelings, and that he is very dissatisfied with his life. I have tried to talk to him about it but he wont let me in.. He puts up this big wall. I have tried to get him out of the house on the days that he doesnt have to work. He doesnt want counseling or wont go because he says he cant keep from lying to them about himself... He says that the only person who truely knows him inside is me, and that no one else does because around everyone else he acts the way they do, he has been manipulative in the past to everyone even me for a period of time... There will be times he questions if he really loves me... and I dont know what to do. I know he's honest with me now, and the man has changed immensely from what he used to be and how he treated me.. but lately he has been in a rut --

I met this girl, "Leah", and i really like her but i have trouble expressing my feelings and opinions. i already know her and we hang out sometimes, we go to the movies a lot. i have tried to set up a "date" but it didnt work we our schedules. i am only 17. so i guess i just need a clever way to tell her that i like her and want to take our friendship to the next level.

Well, do you? And if so, what defines your coolness, and what makes you cooler than your significant other?

Aight, you see...ive been a tomboy all my life, ive always grown up with guys. now i'm 14 and i am like one of the most popular girls in my class and i like it and all, but my new friends (the populars, i use to be more of an outcast last year, i know a miracle, right?) are girly. like they play all the sports and all, but they love to PARTY and wear MAKEUP. i dont own hardly any make up and of course i have been to parties with them, but they drink and stuff and i do once in a while. So, here is the problem: everytime iwear a skirt my mom freaks out and makes a big deal like:you are such a girly girl...i hate it and she knows it but i dont even know how to tell her that i want to wear make up without her going nuts. what can i tell herto make her COMPLETELY understand?

I would be curious to know what sorts of experiendes you have with online dating. I have tried it (even though it's really not a characteristic of mine), since I'm shy, but over a period of two months I didn't experience anything in particular (nothing to be more precise). What sorts of experiences do you have concerning online dating? Did it work for you? Would you ever meet someone online?

we are bad because im getting engaged and im moving to Puerto Rico. We live in Connecticut and she and I had been friends for like 5 years now. She is so mad at me that she wont even talk to me, its been 2 months of this and school is going to start soon and basiclly our schedules are the same. Its going to feel weird having her around when she is mad at me for nothing. I tried talking to her but she doesnt want to. Its very weird because we are both 21 and I could go out and everything but she has a curfew at 9 o'clock and she needs to be in church 3 times a week. We are very different but I love her a lot! she is like the sister I never had, though she is mad at me I feel weird not talking to her for so long. What should I do? Do you believe this was a true friendship? Of what I know is that friends stick through you in good and bad times, why is she being so selfish now that Im going to take on of the most important steps of my life...
