Having confirmed that he likes you and you're really sure, from the bottom of your heart, that you love him too, then taking you out may not be a thing you should loose your sleep about. Many factors may be responsible for not taking you out, at least for now. Apart from the fact that probably, he may be a timid or shy person as a result of his religious/cultural background, you might have given him some impresions about yourself that is making it difficult for him to ask you out, not to offend you. This is now your opportunity to demand for what you want, and I can promise you that you'll see him in a different "colour". You'll then discover some things you've not known hitherto.

Then ask him out yourself! This is 2006 women dont have to wait for a man to ask her out. I never would have gotten with my BF if i didnt ask him for his # myself because he was shy. Just ask him for his # and say "wanna hang out sometime". So really you arent asking him on a date but you are giving an opportunity for something to happen later.
