so where would you hit a shark to cause it some , if any , distress ? assuming of course this IS a shark at sea and not some goof stealing your 'surf' space, in which case you strike him in the testicles. but we're dealing with sharks, and sharks don't give a monkeys fart about you, your surfboard, your pathetic trend whore hair style- or just anything about to you in general. This makes Sharks pretty cool I would imagine, they hate everybody equaly. But never shares your severed Leg with another shark, equally.

Its simple, the sea belongs to mr.shark, and hes the boss of the deepest bluest oceans. Can a fuly grown man, of above average strength strike a series of blows at a shark to render it semi unconcious ? or is this a lost cause ? if you were the size of a wwe wrestler, could you wrestle it into submission ?

No, its all one question - im illustrating the 'various' things you must answer to answer the entire question.

Is this even a possibility. I know some people say that other species will fill a gap, but is it possible to create too many gaps and/or gaps that are too big to fill?

Okay. Climat change or just random winters?

for years, Canadian winters have been known to vary greatly. Sometimes, minus 20 only with around 30 cm of snow for the whole winter. Other years, minus 40 and occasionally - 50 in wind chill with HUGE snowstorms of 40 to 50 cm.
In the past 3 winters, last year, for instance, most of Canada had its first green Christmas. Everyone saw Santa pulling up in a huge green hummer. This year, meteorologists say that its going to be a normal canadian winter. (aka 40 cm of snow per storm, cold, lots of wind, not to mention occaisional light snow)

so really, is climat change really taking effect in canada yet?

Even with all of the national exposure the topic of global warming has received and the piles upon piles of supporting evidence, there is still doubt as to whether the threat really exists. What is the reasoning behind some of the counter arguments?

This is nothing but crap and Al Gore the liar will be in on it. So far the topics are this: World Sea Levels Rising - A dam LIE, world sea levels have been constant for over 100 years. Polar and Antartic Ice Caps shrinking, Another dam LIE recent satelite imagery has indicated a thicker layer of ice covering Antartica that is the deepest layer of ice that has been noted since imagery was started. Rising world temperatures - Another dam LIE, the National Weather Service historical data indicates that the 1930's were the hottest years in U.S. history. I'm sure that Al Gore will show up with his propane torch and a few topics that are full of half truths and LIES.

Sometimes I end up with a plastic fork, spoon, and/or knife after getting take-out from a restaurant. I usually don't use it but I don't feel right just throwing it away. I could probably save it for another use but then I feel like I'm just packing away unnecessary junk. I do recycle plastic bottles, so can I just throw the utensils in with those?

Is solar going to become an affordable alternative soon? How cheap does it need to get? Is it typically calculated as cost per watt, or? How much electic does the typical home use? Any insight would be apreciated.

I'll be the first to answer, and my answer is a big fat NO! When I see millions of people driving massive V8s, V12s etc... and thousands luckier folks flying on private jets some as big as 747! Why should I downgrade my midsize car and economy class airline ticket?!! Don’t you agree with me?

I love skiing and have always dreamed of owning my own pair. I recently bought new high quality skis complete with boots, poles and bindings. Although it was all half off it still came out to $960. I feel guilty getting them since I'm a recent graduate and I go skiing only 2-4 times a year. Additionally all this global warming ruckus is getting me quite nervous at the prospect of there being a reduced snow season in the coming years.

Ice floats, so, unless the sea level was many feet higher, the ice would have had to have been lifted into place some other way. Scientists have said that the amount of water in Greenland, if melted, would raise the sea level several inches to several feet. This is a lot of ice. Other melting of ice would not contribute to sea level rising since the ice is already in the water and displaces the equivalent amount of water already.
