so where would you hit a shark to cause it some , if any , distress ? assuming of course this IS a shark at sea and not some goof stealing your 'surf' space, in which case you strike him in the testicles. but we're dealing with sharks, and sharks don't give a monkeys fart about you, your surfboard, your pathetic trend whore hair style- or just anything about to you in general. This makes Sharks pretty cool I would imagine, they hate everybody equaly. But never shares your severed Leg with another shark, equally.

Its simple, the sea belongs to mr.shark, and hes the boss of the deepest bluest oceans. Can a fuly grown man, of above average strength strike a series of blows at a shark to render it semi unconcious ? or is this a lost cause ? if you were the size of a wwe wrestler, could you wrestle it into submission ?

No, its all one question - im illustrating the 'various' things you must answer to answer the entire question.

i agree, thats whats so fascinating about Sharks - theyre ruthless, and care free and dare i say fearless ? somebody told me that Whales hunt in groups or swim in groups and can kill a shark if they collectively ram their heads into the sides of a sharks body. So if thats true, surely sharks are 'wary' of the threat Whales pose to them.

A Lion would hunt for its prey, out of necessity. on contast, Im guessing a shark would just hunt you down anyway - regardless of whether it wants to consume u for lunch or not. They're the closest thing to 'predators' on earth.

ok for a period of one whole month i was obsessed with sharks...still am..but not to that extend...and i have collected this piece of info..that wud answer ur question....the 'good spots' to show the shark who's boss....is to hit,sratch..any means of violating damage..its gills and eyes....but these are not really that effective....cause if u do that..it'll just let go of you..and start circling....which is pretty scary...but the most effective..is to shove your finger in its nostril..in a perticular way....its like ur finger is some sort of hook stuck in its nose....that would cause the fish to go lame ..completely...it would just stop moving at all....thats all i know....how to get out of that situation is unkown to me...haha...but i came up with my own theory ..if u hold on for a while the shark would drown since its not moving (they need to move in order to breathe...by moving they allow water to pass over their gills and hence breathe....stay still..no water over gill so it'll drown)...hope this answers ur question....

As a commercial fisherman who has harvested several thousand sharks of several species, all sizes. I would say the only way you could harm a shark enough to possible deflect an attacked would be to stick your fingers in his eye socket. A very small shark could possibly be driven off by striking it with your fist. I subdued the ones I caught by striking them on the head with a club, the larger ones I shot in the head. You don't want to bring a live shark aboard your boat!! And then you still have to be careful ! I sold the meat for human consumption

If you hit a shark in the top of the head with a knife u think it would slowly die but it won't die unless u no where to hit it.
Hit it more towards the nose if u do that it cannot smell as well
then stab its eyes so it cannot see u.

By the way it just thinks of u as prey nothing else

best places are it's gills. Punch it's gills, and if you can stick your hand in there and rip everything apart.
