If it was a little warmer than average, that would be definite proof that global warming was man made.

If it's cooler than average, well that's just weather.

Yeah, your concept of what global warming actually is is what's bogus. It doesn't mean the whole earth will heat up, most likely many areas will soon see dramatically colder and harsher winters, with less rainfall in the summer. As the artic ice melts, it impacts the earth's weather pattern and some places may be quite hot, but other areas due to the wind patterns will be frigid.

For every cold place there's a coresponding warm place, here it should be freezing cold at this time of year but I've been outside in just a tee-shirt today.

Global warming refers to the average temperatures over many years across the whole planet. There's always going to be cold days and hot days - it's just that the cold days won't be quite so cold and the hot days will be that little bit hotter.

The difference is also a very small one, the planet is warming by 0.0177°C per year - not the sort of differnce you'd ever really notice.

Do we really!! need to go up in flames before everyone finally
agrees on this?. If you really don't think there is something wrong maybe you should go ask the Eskimos and people living on the permafrost ( or what used to be the permafrost ), who are now up to their knees in mud, see what they say.
