Even if there is a grain of truth to this, the changes will not be drastic, and anyone living today would not be affected greatly by it. But there isn't because it is all a bucnh of crap. And then people like Al Gore are given a Nobel Prize for spreading lies? What has happend to the world...

I'm going to be finished my schooling soon and since I need to choose a career path I thought I should do something I was always passionate about so I was wondering does anyone know what courses you should do to learn about this sort of thing? how to become a climate activist etc.? Thanks for any answers sorry if this seems a naive I don't know much about career oppertunities with this subject.

I have the 'honor' of spending a weekend in a hotel that carries only Fox News Channel. It's raining cats and dogs, I don't have anything to read, so I am watching their 'The Price of Freedom' and I cannot believe my ears.

IS Fox The ONLY News Channel on the PLANET that ridicules and actively opposes the very real danger of Climate Change?
The LEADING News Channel in the US?
Jeez, their audience must be idiots.
Are you one of them?
Why? Lost your marbles?

I have been asked by local coucil to cut my hedge- I do it every year but this year I thought was a borderline case wasnt overhanging -touching traffic etc so left it to do next year.

Do they have any legal powers to make me do it ?

Thay also say I should take away debris-ive never seen local farmers do that its left up to wind and rain to disperse- have they got legal rights there ?
I think this is beaurocracy gone mad !

Writing a paper and my teacher told me that I should look at the Kyoto Treaty or something like that. I need to find things that the U.S. could improve on.

A few days ago in in the UK we were supposed to have a huge flood comparable to the big flood of 1953 - thankfully it didn't happen & the various 24 hour news channels just wasted airtime broadcasting large waves hitting sea walls and localised flooding - but did this amount to our LAST warning to get it right?

If we are to believe in all this Global Warming hype, and considering the amount of previously 'longterm' ice around the globe that has already melted & STILL IS at alarming rate - it doesn't take a genius to work out that less ice means more water in seas, oceans an ultimately a country's waterways; so shouldn't we be taking the weather more seriously as a nation & force this government to start making the serious changes needed?

Stop them messing about continually spending huge sums on trivial ventures by comparison - e.g. this planned 'throw-away' stadium in East London for the Olympics?

Perhaps even the planned Crossrail development for London should be postponed?

The energy labels are rubbish, i want to know in a %.

Ie how much energy if actually used, like a car is 30% efficent and a lightbulb is 10% useful energy.

The Vostok ice core data shows that, without exception, every temperature peak in the historical record CO2 concentrations remain high while temperatures drop precipitously. How, then, can CO2 cause global warming?

Is it because the glaciers are melting and the ocean levels are rising. It couldn't be because there is as much as 800,000 BILLION gallons of water per day being poured into the ocean. Or, are the figures in the Press wrong?
