Why would anyone want to do anything? This is as natural as rain.

I would give each and every AGW supporter a crowbar and saddle soap, so that they could pry their collective heads out of their assorted rectums. After that, I would give them all therapy and then counseling and, if everything works out, a basic education that includes the history Earth's climate, math, physics, and chemistry. It is self evident, even to the most casual observer, that CO2 ppm X a factor does not equal earth's average temperature. That has never been the case and never will be! Thank you.

And why is global warming bad? Why would I want a cooler planet when a warmer planet will support more life?

Put a solar collector on every roof, and a windmill in every yard.
It would remind people that energy has to come from somewhere.

Extinguish the sun,
To tell you the truth, I was scared to death when they predicted the next ice age in the late 70's and early 80's. Well, fool me once.
The number one green house gas is "WATER VAPOR". IE The ocean.
The number two green house gass is "Methane"
Carbon dioxide is the number three green house gas. There is 4 parts of carbon dioxide molcules for each 100,000 moluclues of the atmosphere. It would take man 5 years to add one more molclue, (up to 5 per 100,000) to add to that total.
I am for clean enviroment and new alternative energy. Just not for the scare tactics that will lead to massive taxes and job losses.

i would take the excessive carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and put it back into the ground (oil) where it belongs. it'll take 300,000 years to regenerate anyway. you think we have enough left to use until then? maybe if we knew then what we know now, we might've held out on the car invention until we had a good renewable fuel souce like water or something.

Convince people to consume less of everything and to, instead, appreciate more natural things so that our total production of CO2 reduces dramatically. I find that the simplier things are usually more enjoyable anyhow.
