now this is simply a hypothetical question: please don't give answers like "it's not possible".

anyways, the question is: if during the next twenty years our climate undergoes global cooling (not necessarily back to the norm -- but down to +.2 or something) how do you think this would effect the scientific community? currently, the vast majority of scientists believe it's real, and this is a community that bases their reasoning on facts and all sorts of fancy technology. if they were wrong, would this damage their credibility/reputation? how? would people be more skeptical of the next enormous scientific theory put forth?

Does anyone know a good resource for projecting what a local environment will look like in 10 or 20 years? Energy costs, Water taste, food, living arrangements...
This information may jumpstart some non-carers if they see how it will infringe on their lifestyle.

If all the global warming kooks are right, that means well all be dead in a few hundred years and the earth will be rid of us for good. Kinda like a flea bath for a dog. Either way, in a million years humans will probobly be gone and the earth will keep on turning.

Even after claiming to have ended denier funding, it appears exxon is still doing it:

Why is the strategy of exxon so much different from all the other oil companies who do not (or no longer) fund this movement?

University Of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado, USA, had a project using hydrogen to power a generator using air conditioning compressors as an engine and hydrogen as the power source. No one monitors the email address listed 2 years ago. I am interested in providing power to locations where power is not currently available due to distance or location. I propose the program would be funded by the Philippine govenment. My services nearly free. I would like to solve this as my contribution to society in my retirement years.

If a new Government Policy to prevent Overpopulation in your Country was to stop all Government support for families with more than two children would you be for or against this?

This would mean, no additional housing support, withdrawal of benefits, family allowances, tax incentives/allowances. This would mean more child poverty. This would mean that if you had a larger family than two children, YOU, not the taxpayer would be paying for that choice.

Would you be For or Against? WHY?

Are we creating a pathway of our own demise and the government hiding it?

I am pretty lazy. I admit it. I still want to help reduce my output of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, reduce my strain on the environment, and lower the electricity and water bills. I just don't want to have to spend an hour a day washing out cans and bottles or digging my compost pile. Any suggestions?

If so, check out this very thorough article about the ZAP-X (scheduled for production in 2009 at $50-60,000) and the ZAP Alias (scheduled for end of 2008 or early 2009 at around $30,000)

http://autos.msn.com/advice/article.aspx?contentid=4024954

Having seen these details, what do you think about these cars?
