My philosophy is that you should leave stuff in at least as good condition as you got it. If you stay with a friend, you don't trash their place, you leave it nice and clean when you leave. If you borrow their car, you return it with a full tank of gas, not with a huge dent and running on fumes.
This applies to the Earth. We got it in pretty good condition, but we're doing a pretty good job of trashing it right now. I'm not cool with that. I do what I can to minimize my own environmental impact and encourage others to minimize theirs, and I also help clean up the environment at my job.

I not a big Hoopla on the Green. But, I do care about the Mother Earth and her inhabitants. I a Christian, but, still like to see Earth as the Mother of all life.
When everyone started the whining about Global Warming, I sold my car and bought a Bicycle. Who else did? Why not if you care? Why is the jackass up there in Politics pushing Global Warming, yet he still ride in a Limo? Why do people throw trash on the side of the road, when there a trash can at the fuel pump?
My ethics and values affect a lot in my life, and I am willing to follow those. Are you? Do you drive a car and follow Al Gore? Ha! OK, not mean to hurt feelings, but, when are those who "Care" really going to make a stand for what they believe?
So, really, my ethics and values mean nothing, when others not follow what say say are same as mine!

My ethics and values support it. God gave us the earth to take care of. I want to do my best to keep up my end of the bargain.
