I am always hearing wackos talk about carbon-credits... but if you think about it.. this doesnt do a dang thing...

albore still place all the co2 in the air that he always did... he just buys credits.. (by the way I think global warming is fake)

but with the credits only the RICH countries can keep doing what they are doing while under developed nations are forced to Stay poor... (note carbon credits are a liberal plan to keep poor people poor)

if global warming wackos are really worried about it.. why not start a company to mass product dry ice from the co2 in the air and seal it up.. like nuke waste is done...

hey it is just as good a plan as carbon-credits... and it does something to stop what you say is causing the problem.. what do you think

I have been mad about global warming for about 2 years. Reading "Chicken Soup For The Preteen Soul" really made a difference in me. I really want to do something that will improve global warming gravely, but I don't know what. I already recycle paper and save electricity at my home, and then I talked to my friends about it and they said the were in to help me. So now I have more support, so I think I can do something, but please do tell me what. Something that costs money will also work because I don't mind collecting donation, I just want to do something........do help me

I'm a global warming skeptic, so if your answer is "you're an idiot" then you won't convince me. I'd like to know if there are reliable measurements showing a decline in the concentration of non-greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. At least something showing that the thermal properties of the mix of gases in the atmosphere has changed.

Come on people, you all know that we want to help, but what are we doing in order for this to work? i think that we all need to pitch in, and i personaly appreciate every one doing their part to save this ball of dirt and water we call planet earth. it would be really cool if we all would participate in helping save this beautiful place.

What's best for the environment - throwing your food scraps (egg shells, coffee grounds, potato peelings, etc.) down the disposal or into the trash? I.e., is it better to end up in the sewer system or the landfill?

I know about the usual stuff that individuals can do, such as buying energy efficient light bulbs and appliances and so on, but what I mean is are there any organisations that people can get involved in to help spread the word about global warming to people in their community and also on a world wide scale?

I've tried googling, but I'm not sure what EXACTLY to search for. I'm sure something like this exists and I am extremely interested in becoming more involved and alerting people around me - I just don't know where to start.

Over the last 50 years there has been a population explosion, mainly in developing countries with Global population basically doubled since 1960.

Within the first world there has been an effort to curb pollution, to the point even former pollution capitals such as Los Angeles now have very clean air. However no such efforts have been made in the 3rd world, meaning that the average person open pit buring trees and driving a 2 stroke trike in Africa has a larger carbon footprint that does Bill Gates flying in his private Jet.

Also, no matter the steps taken here, is not all the effort for naught as 1st world populations are in decline while the gross polluters in the 3rd world are expected to make up 2/3 of the population by 2050? Is not the only viable long term solution simply limiting the population?

Discuss.;)
