The discharge in most streams and rivers increases downstream, but in a few discharges actually decreases and then the stream finally disappears...why does this happen?

I invite you to read the critics made to the movies and how Mr Durkin answers by f---k you. Very scientific.

Shouldn´t we keep the debat if there is one at a higher level without taking things out of their context ?

I mean, the oil will run out someday or people will finally come to their senses to start developing alternative energy sources. Shouldn't the people/governments there start thinking about it instead behaving as the wells will never run dry?

Or is that just the propaganda unthinking unscientific minded individuals want to pull over all our eyes? Sounds like a logical fallacy to me.

I have found plenty of disads--higher corn and feed prices for animals and consumers, higher gas prices, damage to car engines that aren't built to run at higher temperatures. The production of ethanol is cost inefficent--it uses more energy to make than it produces, and I imagine (don't know for sure but it seems likely) that all the extra work to produce it probably causes as much pollution as is saved by having it put in fuel.
Couldn't there have been a better way?

Could you please post your source for this as well? I'm doing a research paper and need to know this. If you can answer these as well, I'll send you $5 (just kidding):

How much was spent on alternative fuel sources for cars?
How many people believe global warming is real?

I'm all for fuel-cell cars, and assuming they take over the market in the next two decades, has anyone thought about the fact that the amount of water we would be adding to our environment is also a "pollutant" of sorts as well? That's a lot of H2O being emitted...

Global warming is never been proven at first hand. People tend to think that generally that we have a primary role in the changing of our earth, ask yourselves these questions then, what caused the first ice age? how do you know what life was like before technology, how do you know that temperatures will continue to fall. For the most part I believe global warming is a myth. But please give me answers for your strong concerns over something that doesn't even matter. When we have millions of our problems at hand?

...consider an earth's climate that continuously changes to be more unnatural than a climate that was always the same? What does the history of the earth show? Was the ice age and subsequent heating more unnatural than an earth in a perpetual ice age? My question does not address whether change - or man's alleged involvement - is good or bad, right or wrong. My question is whether or not we should expect change as a natural occurrence.

Having a debate on GW needs details to back it up. I can't find any sources that tell the similarities, relations, and chemical make-ups. What is the role of nitrous oxide in global warming? This question and more, I need help answering.

Im thinking horse doody in my backyard wont harm the insects, toads, worms, and other small creatures in this glass Bottle ecosystem. The bottle is very large, better than three gallons, maybe more than four. I might forget about putting a toad in there, since theyre used to roaming all around. But im defininetly going to buy some crickets from a petstore that would normally be going straight to their death and give them a new home, LOL. Anyways I am pretty sure that any chemical fertilizer I would use for keeping the grass and other small plants healthy would also kill some of these small insects, also i know i have found worms under piles of horse manure while collecing for makin my compost pile. So I am pretty sure its ok to use around these small insects, in case the grasses quit growing or start to wilt. Thanks.. Bye.
