Glaciers are made up of water, fresh water. They melt at temperatures above freezing. Most glaciers are rather big and extensive and glacial movement is caused by melting and freezing. Warmer summer temperatures cause partial melting of thick glacial ice and colder winter temperatures refreeze the ice.

A glacier's retreat or advance is not just dependent on temperature, it also depends on the amount of snowfall. Glaciers grow when snow accumulates faster than it melts, and they shrink when the amount of melting exceeds the amount of snow accumulation. So, a glacier can actually shrink in some years if the weather gets colder, and the amount of snow also decreases. Glaciers melt fastest when the amount of snow is low during winter, and the summer is very hot.

OK- Glaciers are ice
Ice melts at 33 degrees (At sea level. If the pressure changes then the melting point changes.)
Then Glaciers melt when they reach 33 degrees.
