I am a 2nd semester teacher, and I really do not like my job. The workload is ENORMOUS. Literally, the only thing I have time for is school work. I do not participate in any of the hobbies that I used to enjoy because I no longer have time for them. I do nothing but eat, drink, and breathe school. It is SOO draining. For example, I worked away my entire weekend & still did not get everything completed. Today, I stayed at work until 7:00 attempting to get my report cards finished - not even close! It is now nearly midnight, and I still have to type report card comments for over half my students, plus create a math quiz, plus figure out what I am going to do for social studies tomorrow because I did not have the energy to stay even LATER at school getting the materials ready for what I previously had planned. I feel like I am missing out on things and am resentful towards people who actually get to enjoy thier life. I am considering going back to school to become a librarian...

I have taken away video games, TV. I have tried to find thing they seem to be interested in and find books about it for them to read. The biggest problem is getting them to read.

I know some of the kids ask for the punishments they get but some teachers are plain evil. You can't even tell me that they arn't because I have had a couple that have yelled at me for asking a question. Not saying all teachers are like that. People are always telling me to respect my teachers. But what about the ones that yell and punish you for doing nothing wrong? Don't you have to give respect to get it?

I am planning on becoming a teacher upon graduating from university. I love the company of children, but I know that they are hard to deal with. Should I start off teaching at the elementary level? Or should I start at the high-school level instead, instead? I want to teach at the primary educational level first so I can get experience before eventually becoming a university professor.

I have asked my teacher MANY questions about my graduation project but she NEVER answers me. She always just looks at me and says... "You should have been listening to me!" But she never went over what im asking.... and if she did that does not mean that i actually fully understode her. But after she makes that comment.... she still doesn't answer my question. And she dont only act like this to me.... it is to the WHOLE class! We need our questions answered so we wont fail our senior year. What should I do???

I want to pretend that I am opening a private school, and I need to have staff, that is where I need your help what kind of staff should be a part of this school for an ideal private school? Also I need a budget plan and can't seem to find any samples, would you be able to help me on this subject I would be so greatful for all the help you can give me, the budget plan must have how much I pay each individual teacher or faculty member, school supplies, personal hygiene items, desks, beds, maintenace the groceries as this would be a place where the teens would stay till holidays.?

I am an 8th grade Math student, and my teacher is not doing her job. My teacher has a history of being a poor teacher. She goes over things once, and leaves out steps, and when we ask her to do them again she rolls her eyes, and fusses at us, and says "Maybe if you payed attention you would know what your doing." She is very rude, and expects us to understand the first time. My brother's bestfriend's sister had her, she was an A+ student, and failed her class because of her poor teaching. My brother's friend switched classes, for his parents didn't want any trouble with her. Parents have complained about this many times. My mother is aware of the situation, and is concerned for our education. She won't be fired because iti is hard to find a replacement math teacher. This isn't a case where students don't understand so they complain and whine it's also the parents, even my History teacher says it's b/s. So how can we handle this, for I am afraid I will fail math this year.
