If you reside in the United States, you are automatically eligible for Federal Assistance; whether or not your local community provides it. If the parents are unable to work or simply unemployed, there are even more options for help. Food stamps, monthly cash allowances, bill payment, and cost controlled housing are all options. In times of desperation, there is even an emergency assistance fund.

Children should not have to work, and under all circumstances should attend school.

For more information, visit http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/ofa/ or visit your local Family Assistance Office.

This is the excuse that is given by parents, who's children are working and the people who employ them.
1) Why parent is not working. Even for unskilled there are jobs, both for Men & Women.
2) If they can not maintain, why they produce.
3) A child is fed & educated free by Government if they go to school. Even they are clothed.
So by giving lame excuses we should not criticise the government. This is a good move and we should help them, full hearted.
Now only, they are going towards, illegal activities without education and not knowing proper use of money and exploitation of their bodies.

the government is giving loans in different scheme.it should be granted to the family in the children's name and someone of the parents jointly for small business, according to parents education al background.after the child becomes major,he should repay it with minimum interst rates, further the child should be trained along with his father or mother or both to run the small business.so that after his studytime the child can help his /her parents .unless we motivate the next generation to cottage industry, the problem is difficult to be solved.
