Say, "I remember when you discussed this topic in class but I have some questions about how it relates to my particular project." If she doesn't answer, have your parents phone the school and ask the questions on your behalf to either the counsellor or the VP. That staff member will say, "Why doesn't Jane just ask herself?" Then your parents can explain that you needed clarification and your teacher refused to provide it.

I know.. I have my degrees in education but never want to go into teaching because of many teachers just like the one you are talking about.. It would be difficult to do anything.. If you had her reported, she could give you a failing grade.. The ONLY thing that you might try and go into it with courage that you will succeed and that is to ask to speak to her about something and attempt to do it when no one is arouind.. preferably in her office. Talk to her of your concerns.. It is possible that she will listen.. but there is always the possibility that she will not.... I do not know if you have a school councelor or not but if you do.. that would be another possible approach.. that is. approaching the counselor about your problems

Your teacher SHOULD be helping you out here. It really sounds like she cannot be bothered.
Can your parents make an appointment to go see her with you?
They could explain how keen you are to get things done and perhaps they could say they've tried to help you but they don't really know what is required.
If they didn't want to see her they could perhaps write a letter for you.
Don't be afraid of what the teacher might think if this was done, after all it's YOUR education not hers.
Good luck

You may need to approach her after class so you can do this one on one. If she still says. "you should have been listening to me" She is trying to make you feel belittled and herself more in control. Say, I am listening now, and I need you to help me with this.
If after going to her like this, if you don't get help, see the principle. The principal will approach the teacher on behalf of your whole class, probably saying "A few of your students came to me." Don't worry if she figures it was you. You're graduating and won't have to see her again.
Good luck.

If she doesn't understand or give you an answer when you are in private, go one step ahead of her, talk to your counselor or principal and tell them you are having problems with this teacher, that should make her answer your questions
