I know this is a huge question, but roughly, is this the order it goes in? How many years for each title? What more could you do with each title? If you get a doctorate, do you get to put Dr. at the end or beginning of your name or something?

Emails are not being answered and the phone number doesn't work. Does anyone out there in this huge internet world know how I can get a copy of these or get in touch with this Mary? My typing teacher thinks music will help us type more accuratley and faster so she wants to let us listen to our ipods during class, but the principle thinks we'll use them in other classes when we're not supossed to. Got any good factual arguments for why we should be allowed to? Please include sources .

(but not for the reasons you may think)
when a post is made, presumably by a pupil/student/whatever in the homework help section, like "how do I calculate the volume of a cone with dimensions .......blahblahblah) don't you agree that we should not just spoonfeed them the answer, maybe point them in the right direction to discover it for themselves - otherwise they'll never get to think for themselves. Also working it out themselves should give them more self esteem. Or am I just a boring old fart?

If i brought a bright orange plastic squirt gun in to my school in grade school the teacher would take it away for the rest of the year. What the hell is going on in our school systems today? Am I the only one that thinks "zero tolerance" goes way to far way to often? Im interested in knowing why their were no alternitive disciplinary action.

these 7th graders are very low-level. So hands on activities such as projects would be amazing. But any suggestions would be great!

I'm a senior in high school with over a 4.0 weighted average, and I'm thinking about doing some tutoring work for money, since no local businesses are hiring and I need to start paying car insurance soon, since I'll be driving. I'm wondering what to charge per session, and how long a session should last.

I've figured out that I can tutor any subject for levels K-8, along with HS level Biology and Chemistry. Alternatively, for levels K-6, I'm willing to offer general homework help.

I have some experience - I tutored someone who was failing two to four hours per week last year in HS Chemistry, and she ended up passing the course, including her NYS Regents Exam, which many people failed.

From what I've seen, tutors around here make anywhere from $10 to $40, at my level of education. Is $10-15 unreasonable for a general homework help session? How does $20 sound for levels 7&8 math, or HS subjects? Is this too much? Too little? Could I make it work?
