To get accurate information that is specific to your school I really suggest that you talk to an advisor at your school. They can help you the most.

I have a double major and a minor. I was able to do it in 5 years. I also got married during that time and worked and took some summer classes to make up for a semester that I did not take many classes in. It really depends on the school and circumstances.

You will get the most accurate information from an advisor.

Good luck.

I want to major in film production

*** then drop out and move to LA and get a copy of the Daily Variety news paper. Get a crew job and work your way up by trying everything and seeing what "fits" I have a lot of experience in this business. That is how it is done.

but i want to have another major:

*** Get a Degree in "Business" and learn how to write grant proposals and run a successful business. Every filmmaker needs money.

either philosophy or political science. *** If you want to do film then you must have real dedication. What goes with film is History and Business.

business, political science, and history go together.

Or you can go into the film business and read like a mad-man get a library card at the library.

1. how long would it take me to have two majors?
** Who cares you will be preparing for the rest of your life. Take your time.

2.what are the levels of educations in universities?
BA or BS, MA or Phd.

I graduated with 2 majors in 4 years. But the amount of time it takes totally depends on how much you're willing to put into it---how many classes you want to take per year, for example. Usually people graduate in 5 years with 2 majors. But it totally depends on the individual.
There is Community College where people can get their general education credits (basic science, math, english...), there's 4 year college where the average student graduates within 4 years. Masters, which usually takes a couple years to maintain, then doctorates which can take much longer--again it depends on the individual and the subject.
The difference between a college and a university is that a university has a graduate school, and a college does not.
