Easy to prepare, get out, and should be able for students to quickly put them away (I don't want to spend loads of money...just for my early finishers).

Hi, I will soon be entering my Junior Year in college. I am planning to become a history teacher on middle to high school level. Which elective courses in history do I have to take in order to prepare well for this job. My stongpoint is American history and political science. I know a lot about it. I know world history briefly, as well as some ancient history. I mostly took American corses electives and I know a lot about it. Me weakest point is medieval European history. Should I take more world or ancient or American history courses? And since I am in college full time, I never realy had a part time job. I heard that degree alone does not get person a teaching job, one must have some job experience in their resume. Is this true?

I have read a lot of questions and answers in Yahoo Answers and most, at least 90%, have bad spelling or grammer. Is this an indication of our education system and what can we do about it? Does it have a knock on effect to encourage the dumbing down of almost everything, especially television - I am thinking of reality shows?

I am at a loss at reading English numbers. e.g. telephone number, room number, bus number, house number, seat number...... Are they only sequence of reading individual digit or a combination of some pairs ? for example, room number 123 ( one twenty three may be conventional way, but i also hear one two three or one hundred twenty three). Please let me know the most conventional way. Please give as many examples as possible because we try to parse numbers in non-standard text for converting text into standard English pronunciation. In other words, how to read English number. Thank you very much in advance.

Just looking at some of the questions and answers on this site brings this question to mind; people do not understand the theory of evolution. Just look at this;
1) If an organism evolves into another organism, what does it breed with? Good question since there is such a variety in the number of chromosomes within different species.
[Species evolve, not organisms.]

2) If an organism evolves into another organism, why do the old organisms still exist? (why didn't all monkeys evolve into men?)
[Monkeys did not evolve into men]

3) Scientists have been breeding fruit flies, lab rats, bacteria, etc. for many years -- subjecting them to all sorts of situations to try to force evolutionary changes. They can change some minor traits (coloration, etc.) -- but they still get fruit flies from fruit flies every few days. If evolution was actually happening, there should be some more direct evidence that it is occurring.
[Evolution takes centuries. Evidence is the fossil record and genetics.]

I have to choose a major, but don't know which one. I want to do anything that deals with chem., but I want to know

Who gets paid good Chemist or Biochemist? Their salary?

I only like chem b/c I was doing very good in it compare to other classes, especially in Organic Chem. thats why I am making chemistry my major. I don't have a lot of knowledge of lab material ( I mean I am bad at chemistry lab work ), but the manipulation of the compound structure and everything else , I was good at.
And since I like biology too, I was thinking of doing Biochemistry.

How will I get job and where will I get it?

Any advice would be truly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
