I'm a mother of 3 kids 16,10 and 2 = and I still study with them, and teach them whatever I can. In the process of teaching them, I learn as well and with the internet making information so easy to access, I'd like to go study some more. I'm actually thinking of taking up associate degree courses from the home. I hope your son will realize the adventure involved in learning new things. One is never too old to learn. I'm 40 and I miss college.

There is an adage that is commonly used in Ghana which goes like this; "If you think education is expensive then try ignorance" I guess what this adage is saying is that you can never down play the benefit of learning. I think that for one to cultivate the habit of learning is a very good habit that should be appluaded.

I like the comment I heard recently but I am unable to repeat it word for word. It was something like this:
In days gone by we told children to finish their meal because there was some hungry person in the world that had greater need for it but now it is 'Do you homework because there is some hungry person in the world waiting for your job!'
