Definition: A Bcc (blind carbon copy) is a copy of an email message sent to a recipient whose email address does not appear in the message.
This is in contrast to To and Cc recipients, whose addresses do appear in the respective header lines. Every recipient of the message can see all the To and Cc recipients, but does not know about Bcc recipients.

Email is being effectively used for getting approval for some works, sending mimutes of meeting to the various party for their vetting etc.
CC - Carbon copy. Normally ppl in CC don't reply as It could serve as an information to them
BCC - Blind Carbon Copy. The reciept usually don't know if the sender include other people in BCC coz it is "blinded" to the reciept. So It is one of the tools people used if they want to backstabbed you.

cc means 'carbon copy' which means those people will get a copy of the email and will be listed in the email as getting a copy

bcc means 'blind carbon copy' which means those people will get a copy of the email but will not be listed as getting a copy so no other recipient knows they got a copy
