((month two visitors - month one visitors) x 100) / month one visitors = percentage increase

((2302 - 1110) x 100) / 1110 = 107%

119200 / 1110 = 107%

To figure out the percent increase, the formula is

((new - original)/original) X 100
or
( (2302 - 1110)/1110) X 100 = 107.39% increase over the first month

However, if the question was posed as what was the percentage of increase using the last month as base, then the formula is

((new - original)/new) X 100
or
( (2302 - 1110)/2302) X 100 = 51.78% increase to the last month.

I hope I said this right.

Month 2 had a 107.4% increase from month 1. You take the number from month 2, divide it by month 1, subtract 1 and then multiply the difference by 100 to get the percent.

well pecentage can be calculate on both number

on former number:(2302-1110)/1110 * 100=107.39%
thus the increase in number of visitor 107.39% in second month
as compare to first month

on later number:(2302-1110)/2302 *100=51.78%
thus first month visitor were 51.78% less as compare to second month

Take the difference and divide it by the original and this will give you your percentage. or use the proportion - % over 100 = difference over the the original.

Good luck!

That's a 107.4% increase.

Just a tad over double.
