My counselor in college, suggested I major in business with a "concentrarion," or "option," in Accountatncy. My question is, Looking up carerrs, I found CFO, CHIEF FIANNCIAL OFFICER, I love the salary and i believe they start off as accountants and work their way there after years of experience. That's my goal. However, my research tells me that i should get a BS in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration. And that employers these days prefer a MASTERS in business administration, economics, finance, or risk management. And that to be an Accountant i should get a bachelors in accounting or business administration w concentration in accounting. WHAT SHOULD I DO? California State Univ. Long BEACH offers a B.A. in Business Administration with options in Accountancy, finance, human resources management , and international business. But California State Univ Northridge, offers B.S. aCCOUNTANCY, but its major is "impacted," its tougher to get in.Is either school better?

I am taking a really hard science course. The professor has us taking only 4 tests and most of the questions on each test is around 20 to 35 questions. The total points you could get are 100. The last test, the class average and the grades were real bad! This past test the average went up a little to a c-. I missed the class average by 4 points. I don't know what to do anymore, it's a pretty tough class and she's a tough teacher. I studied my butt off for this test, I dont get it! Should I stick with it? Study much more harder? or this teacher and class is a joke, no1 can pass?! I'm so confused and its sorta making me depressed...

I am a little nervous about going to grad school since its been about 6 years since undergrad. I know I abit rusty in study skills, but, I have deferred my dream quite long enough. It's definitly time to improve my circumstances and get a more specialized education.

However, I cannot shake the nervous feeling. Dare I say, lack of confidence? I can say that this is coming from is from being extremely eager to return to school, but being a bit shaken due to the length of time since I was last in school. When last in school I did well, graduating quickly and with honors. So why am I really in such a state about returning.

Anyone else had to try to shake the heebie jeebies when thinking of returning to school after an extended period away? What did u do to fight this feeling? Or, is the only cure DOING it?

I have a general question..so i am a senior in high school and am planning to attend a calstate in general..but i have a few questions...i want to become a pharmacist when i grow up..and this means that i need to go to pharmacy school...but i was planning to go to a calstate to complete my prerequisite courses for the pharmacy school..so here is where my questions comes in...is it possible to somehow transfer out of a calstate after I complete all my necessary prerequisite courses for phamacy school, to enter into a pharmacy school? So..say it takes three years to complete my prerequsite courses for pharmacy school at csulb. now am i able to just transfer out of csulb after my 3rd year into my pharmacy school...or do i have to complete my fourth year to earn my bachelors? what would you recommend? do you see lots of students transferring out of a csu in their middle of being able to earn a bachelors degree to attend a graduate school? Thanks!...or would you recommend..if a community college instead?

I am in a wheel chair and I was sick last Thursday. I had to go to a medical specialist that day. To do so, I had to miss my all of classes. My question is, what to make of my music professor's reaction to my presenting her with a doctor's excuse.

I gave the same doctor's excuse to my geography professor and he reacted by considering my absence to be excused as well as handing the doctor's excuse back to me. That way I could present it to my other professors. I handed it to my music professer, Dr. Madeline Darmiento, but she chose simply to keep it! There was a test in her class that day, so she granted me no opportunity whatsoever to discuss her actions with her.

Afterward, I went to business class. That professor immediately understood my situation. He considered my absense to be excused, due to that I e-mailed him before last Tuesday informing him of my doctor's appointment.

I e-mailed my music professor earlier about it also. She simply ignored my e-mail. What gives?
