i really want to know which is the best university in NC. please show me the university's name from the best to the worst. (as far as i know there are 16 U in NC.) my major is criminal justice, and i want to do something deal with laws. i also want to study medical. do you have any suggestion for that?

At the top of the list we will have arguments about who is 'best'
USNWR tells us it goes like this:
Duke University (nat'l 8)
UNC-Chapel Hill (nat'l 28)
Wake Forest University (nat'l 30)
NC State (nat'l 85)
Davidson College (liberal arts 9)
Elon (master's south 2)
Appalachian State (master's south 10)
Queens University (master's south 23)
Gardner-Webb (master's south 55)
High Point U (bachelor's south 6)
Lenior Rhyne College (bachelor's south 13)
Catawba College (bachelor's south 16)
Winston Salem State (bachelor's south 21)
This isn't every college in NC but it's a start for you.
Duke, Wake Forest, and UNC-CH are usually listed on lists of "Southern Ivies" and are very well respected in the Southeast. Davidson is well recognized as an elite liberal arts college.
My list of the top 5 would be:
1 - Duke
2 - Davidson
3 - UNC-CH
4 - Wake Forest
5 - everyone else is about equal - they aren't "the top"

I graduated from Appalachian State University! I LOVED THAT SCHOOL! only down fall is the ccccold weather

But a good party school would be NCU or N.C State..
