I go to a private school where you have to pay 10,000 dollars a year. This school is very expensive and very well known. I make all a's and maybe one or two b's. My extra curricular activies include orchestra and basketball. I scored a 1980 on my SAT. I am a junior right now. What are my chances and what do i need to improve? Please anwer.

Even though I find that I am working hard I cant seem to perform well. It seems that others who work less and party more are doing better than me. I have never been in a situation where i work so hard and dont even know if I will pass. Should I go to Ohio state considering the fact that the engineering program in ohio state is much easier and that the average gpa of students coming in is not as high as michigan?

I'm talking minimum SAT scores (combined math, critical reading, and writing), minimum GPA, extracurriculars, etc? I know they accept like 67-70% of applicants and even though i'm an above average student, my SAT scores aren't extremely high because for one i'm not the best in math and also i'm not good at taking standardized tests.

Anyway, i'm really stressed out about this even though everyone keeps telling me i'll get in no problem (not 10% though).

Especially if you chose a major that comes a dime a dozen, such as: psychology, neuroscience, biology, or chemistry? I've heard that the name of your school will get you your first job, but then it will all be based on experience, is this true? I go to cu-boulder which is ranked around 76 by us news world rankings, should I try to transfer to a school that's at least in the top 20?

I just finished my 2nd year at an univeristy. I am hoping to apply to a law school but my GPA is very low (2.2 to be exact). Someone told me that if i do extremely well on the second half my univeristy years combined with a fairly good LSAT scores, I have a good chance of getting into a decent law school. Is this true? or should i just give up?

I'm wondering if any "brick and mortar" schools offer doctorates or phd degrees online? I know of plenty brick and mortar extension schools that have masters programs online (Harvard, NE, MIT, etc...) but nothing further up. Please keep in mind im only asking about programs associated with well known, non-online only, schools. Also I'm preferably interested a business degree but if you know of a school that offers this in a different field of study your welcome to list it here. Thanks.

I want to be an editor/publisher, but I'm not sure what to major in. I know I can just go general with something in business or communications, but when I've discussed this with a few people, they've seemed positive that several schools (both undergrad and grad) offer a major in specifically editing/publishing? I've tried searching online but haven't had much luck. Anyone have some helpful information in this area?

I'm a pretty good Math student A* almost always, and I was asked what i wanted to do with my future today. I was stumped. I had always thought of being a stockbroker but that sounds too boring and too much devotion of time, althought the rewards are brilliant.

A teacher suggested actuary. I Ugh-ed...

I either want my future to be applied maths or physics well applied physics is generally engineering right?

So, right to the cheese then, I was wondering what kind of jobs are there that are applied mathematics? I mean I want a job that I can get a good wage with aswell I mean i realise there is no way of getting £120k like a stockbroker, but I mean If something like £80k+ is possible after 5-7 years after working at the place I don't mind.

Please help me find some jobs that meet the specifications I suggested.

I'm only 14 at the moment and this is a brief plan for my future.

A levels- Math+Further Math+ Physics
Then afterward it depends on the job for my uni course.

I want a phd t

I'm currently a Theatre student in the US. I eventually want to go for my Master's, and I would really love to get it in England. At my school, the only difference between the two degrees is that a B.A. requires 4 semesters of a foreign language, and the B.S. requires an internship- not much of a difference and I really think that an internship would help me more than a foreign language, especially since I'm hoping to work as a professional actor. I'm just not sure if a BS is as transferable for a Master's program- in England or anywhere else. Also, is a B.A. or B.S. even transferable for a M.F.A?
