How does one become certified to be a Laboratory Tech?

DONT start at the college unless you wann pay for everything.
FInd a hospital and/or lab and apply for a job. Tell them you want to become a lab tech a lot of times they'll not only give you a job, but they'll pay for your schooling.

That depends on what you want to do. I work for a research lab, and our Techs must have a 4 year degree in one of the life sciences.
