it said it on yahoo homepage. I mean i thought to get a associate degree takes 2 year and bachelor 4 years. But isn't it impossible to get a degree in 1 year. And do you think online college is good ?

I am currently attending ITT and I am in my fourth quarter but am thinking about tranfering to a university, But doing research online I found out that ITT tech isn't a credited school, even though I was told that it was accredit when I first start.. and if I was to tranfer I could lose some or all my credits... I honestly don't think ITT Tech is the best choice to go.. What do you think i should do?

What and how do I become an appraiser in Illinois? I heard you are just supposed to learn but I figured that there are classes but the only ones I can find are 1 hour long lectures and that is it...Are there actual classes?

I noticed that OTIS college in Los Angeles, CA is very close to LAX(LA Airport). Is there any chance that a plane could accidently hit OTIS? And how far is it from LAX?

I'm studying chemical engineering and I'm about to start my third year. I know this isn't what I really want, I don't like the curriculum and I know it doesn't satisfy me. I've been to my counselor a million times, and the only thing she says is: "You should wait until you take courses that are really chemical engineering courses". The problem is that I can't waste more time and money until I take those classes because I need to make a decision now, I can't wait any longer.

I know I'm a little late for this, but I'm thinking in switching majors. I thought about switching to a bachelor's degree in chemistry, but I don't know if it's the right thing. I don't really know what to study, I'm really confused and worried because I'm supposed to have pretty clear what I want to do instead of having all these doubts in my mind.

Can someone help me please?

I doubt they do, attending a ranked university to me is much more credible, the experience, the difficulty of classes etc.

Hello I am about to enter my final (senior) year of High School and my grades are as follows:

GPA... 3.8-3.9
SAT critical reading 460
SAT Math 530
SAT Writing 430

I am... slightly paranoid about this, but I guess I still have a whole year left. But it would be nice to get some opinions now. thank you all (this is my first time using Yahoo! Q&A... if that matters)

For some reason I'm just not getting this one question. I tried to have someone explain it to me but it's just not making sense for some reason. The link is:

And it is Question #7 in Section 2 (about ship in Atlantic Ocean). The answers & explanations are at the bottom of the test. Will someone tell me a quick explanation of why that answer is correct? (I keep getting hung up on the ship sinking around 850 not hundreds of years after that.)

i need to choose two subjects by the next school year(so in a month) of what im going to take my entrance exam to a university. i have been thinking of a business course, to this i should choose from maths, history or a foreign language. and i d like to avoid maths if possible, but i dont know if an average knowledge of maths would be enough?anyone here who can tell about business courses, pros and cons?(i thought of international business)what u like in it, what u dont like, what subjects u have, how hard they r? thanks

My wife is Japanese and she is interested in going to nursing school. She speaks English so Im certain she will be able to understand the lectures. However, Im not so sure she can understand the reading material. Can she get the reading material in japanese. Or perhaps even the test?
