It certainly won't be easy, but why not? You can put your skills in one field to use in the other, so why not develop both while in college

Nopes, computer science is completely different than art. If I was you I'd suggest getting a computer science degree and do art on the side... you really don't need a degree to be an artists unless you plan to work somewhere where art knowledge is requiered like a museum restoring work or something like that... make sure you know what computer science is though because most people confuse it with graphic design in the computer, like making video games and such.. it is not so easy, there's lots of math involved and alot of programming. so make sure you know what you have in mind as far as future jobs are concerned for you and aim for that. Don't get discouraged though I know people in CS that have made it quite fine and some do work in game development, but most go for the scientific path rather than the artsy way.

yes it is possible to do both...it may take more work but if you really love both of thoe feilds then you have the will power to do so. I'm doing a double major myself and couldn't be more excited. something in art and then something in computer science may be a really good pair ...it would help in anything like graphic design or web design and woulld contribute to any art related career grately as well as probably give you a more in depth understanding of computers which is a good thing for...any career..just an overall good thing to know

I would say you can definitely do that in four years because the two are both in the realm of Education Majors. The same basic credits that all Education majors take, regardless of what subtype(Elementary, Secondary, Special) would be the same and it would likely only be a few credits beyond your Elementary Education major to get that Special Ed major. You are very smart to get that Special Ed certification as well as Elementary Education because it makes you so much more marketable when you go to apply for employment after graduation.

Sure , you can mix art with computers. That is basically what a person with a CAD (computer-aided drafting) degree does. You can do it for architecture design, interior design, etc.

Yes, its possible. People are even triple majoring these days. I surely wish I had. If you have the time and money to do it, go for it because the name of the game in the job market is marketability.

But also remember that you could major in computer science, and then minor in art. (And you wouldn't have to pursue a whole new bachelor's degree.)
