I found that college books are really costly. Each semester I will need at least 5/6 books which will cost me at least $400 even they are used. So I am planning to make my friend over an Asian country to send the photocopy versions of the same books which are, in amount of dollars, quite cheap. In that case that would cost me only $40 instead of $400. But is there any copyright issues with it? I will use the books only for my personal use and not for resell.

I graduated from there in 2004 and it was a horrible expierence, no help finding a respectble job or intership in a financial managment role with a good company unless you were black, minority or foreign. Eveny they had to go to outside resources to help help. The faculity are non competitent in their fields.

I have been homeschooled from 9th grade and I am graduating next year, I am just finishing 11th grade this May. I love horses, and want to look for something in the Equine Field. I have a lot of experience in it and I just love animals. Is there any college or university that will accept me? I am homeschooled from an accredited school. It can be either online or regular classes. I have looked into the vet field, but that takes 8 years and you would have to put animals down and do stuff that I don't like to do. I want to own a boarding stable that not only boards horses, but offers lessons and everything else.

I'd like to get a two-year RN degree, then maybe go for a BSN.
Is there a website or other information/support available for older students interested in nursing?

Don't you think there are people who never went to college or had any formal education that are smart as hell. I have a friend who hasn't gone to college, but is super smart. How can I make him feel better about not going? He can't afford to go, so please don't tell me to tell him that. What is the best way to get ahead in this world without a degree?

I just recently got married and I live in the little state of Delaware. There is not a college that offers a pharmacy program in Delaware. The closest school is two to four hours away. I work fulltime in a pharmacy now as a technician and I would like to better myself and become a pharmacist but it seems impossible. Could someone please aid me in the right direction?

I was wondering if my stats were good enough to even think about applying to Yale or Harvard. I went to a very competitive undergraduate institution, took a challenging course load and majored in Biology. I have a CGPA of 3.64, but a major GPA of 3.75 and my GPA over my last two years is 3.81. I have two summers of research experience, research experience in South Africa (where I studied abroad) and research through my final semester at school. I haven't taken the GREs yet but I know I have very good recs. I am working as a Research Assistant at a well recognized university this year and looking to got to graduate school next year but I am not sure what schools I should be looking at to apply.

I know using a fake diploma by citing it on your resume is definitely a crime of fraud. I am wondering, however, if just purchasing one or possessing one is a crime as well. I'm looking to report on diploma mills for my college newspaper and wanted to purchase one for investigative purposes. However, I'm afraid to do so in case it comes back to haunt me - even though I'd never intend to use it for employment purposes. Is anyone aware of the laws surrounding this...? Fraud is illegal - but is it illegal simply to possess a fake? This information would just be helpful in general in terms of writing my article - as most information I can find on this topic on the web seems to speak only of people using the diplomas for fraudulent gain. Please let me know if you have anything to add. Thanks!

I am currently a 4.8 student and I am enrolled in 4 AP Classes- AP Engish, AP US Hist, AP Gov and Pol, AP Environmental. I know these are not the toughest AP classes avaliable, so I decieded to choose 4 and I have been succeeding. Next Year I am signed up for AP Stat, AP Lit, AP Psyc, and Ap European History, and am hoping to maintain a straight A Average. I got a 3.2 unweighted(4.0w) my freshman year, and this is where I become worried. I recieved 4 B's and 3 A's. The summer going into my sophomore year (the year I began making straight A's), I realized how much of a passion I had for learning, and my freshman year, I had was just messing up with no goals. So now I have made a 1300 Old SAT, and 30 ACT, and am wondering If I can get into the school I love everything about, Penn. I am a nationally ranked tennis player and have been playing since elementary, Stuco Chair, Class Board Treasurer, Tennis Club Booster Pres. I have also volunteered tons of hours at a nursing home and found
