I would say that it is way too early to tell. Freshman year is one year of four, three of which are considered by most colleges. So honestly you are just representing one third of your school patterns. So I would say wait until Sophomore year but work hard and be sure to try your best, the longer a good grade pattern is shown the more likely you are to get into a nice college.

Sounds like you have a shot. However the competition is high so be certain to apply to many schools (and a few in a different tier...e.g., not so popular) to make certain you are admitted to at least one. Remind your folks that college applications (never mind college!) cost $$$.

And finally, you're doing a lot. It wouldn't hurt to take a break once in a while and just do nothing/whatever. When you meet those admissions committees, you'll need to project confidence and it wouldn't hurt to look relaxed!

Good luck!

talk to your college couns;er and take as many ap an honors classes as you can to raise your GPA. and ADD is good because you can potentialy get extened time for SAT's and all that jazz. your in 9th grade you have a while to go, not saying you should not start thinking of college, but dont stress out too much
