Pediatricians are physicians, so before you enter training for pediatrics you must first graduate with a Bachelor's degree, then get into med school and take four years of general training, and then get accepted into pedicatrics residency where you will learn the details of medicine for children. That will take 3 to 5 years after you finish med school.

Any med school in the US will give you good training in preparation for pediatrics, but you must first get into med school, that is the hard part. You can increase your chances of getting into med school by attending a top college and getting top marks in all the tough science courses that are the prerequisites for med school. You need to be excellent in chemistry, biology and math.

Don't worry about which ones are the best. About all universities that have an established medical school give the same training quality. The big name of the school only works if you're trying to get into academia or keep some alumni network connection that probably began with your parents.

I would answer, but I have a feeling there's no way you're going to get in to such schools.
