I'm keeping my hopes up for an outside shot at their Walsh School of Foreign Service. Yeah, my undergrad GPA (2.55) is pretty abysmal to say the least.

But I have a lot of overseas work experience; I was a Peace Corps Volunteer for two years, so I really don't know how much better the admissions brass would want me to be (or how much I better I *could* be) in this respect.

And I think it would be really sad for the university not to give me due credit for this (which they'll probably say they will to be politically correct, but in reality won't)

If the university is going to look only at my GPA, then, yeah, I'd say my chances are nil.

i can't decide whether i should go slightly down-state for college, or stay here and live at home and go. i like both schools, but if i lived at home i could have free meals and laundry and stuff, but i want the experience and freedom of being away from home...what do you think? also if i got homesick, the down-state school is only like an hour and a half away.

I registered for a college math course. They require a TI-85 or equivelant, which isn't even made by TI anymore. So I started searching and I don't think there's a huge difference in price between the TI-86 and TI-89 platinum. Here's is a description of the course:
Emphasizes simplifying expressions, solving equations, and graphing functions, including linear, quadric, polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic. Problem solving and mathematical modeling are integrated throughout. Appropriate technology to include a graphing calculator.

I know the TI-86 would do what I need, but would the TI-89 platinum do everything I need or is it made to do other things?

I'm a freshman from University of New South Wales. Recently, I've been told by my program coordinator that I have an advanced standing and I'll be given a chance to take up an elective.

It's either "Corporate Law" or "Economics & Politics". I find both electives very interesting, but I can only choose one. I'll be majoring in Finance, and I intend to work in a bank after my graduation...somewhere in the line of analysing and researching on future risks/opportunities in proposals or policies, etc.

I need help!!!! Which one is best to study?

please please please proofread this for me!

As a junior in high school, I felt I had my whole life figured out. It was the 2006 school year; I had one more year left of high school and one more year until I turned 18. I thought I would be free and all my decisions would have been already made and the only thing left to do was to follow through with my plans. At the time, my plan was to own my own daycare. I was planning on going to a large university to obtain a masters degree in business administration. Little did I know everything was about to change.
Near the end of the year, I received a notice telling me to go meet with my guidance counselor. At the meeting, I was reminded about something my school called the Business Academy. This was a program I entered in 8th grade. When the program was introduced to us in the middle school, it seemed like a good idea to join because you could take courses in high school that give you college credits. So I went in for an interview and was
