I've always viewed college as much harder than high school but it isn't really. I was able to excel more in college, I got into the Dean's List a couple of times, enjoyed the company of many different people and found myself studying because I enjoyed a particular course. I feel like college gives you more chances to excel because we aren't ranked, unlike in high school where awards are given only to those on top but in college awards are given to everyone who excelled in their studies and I think that's prettty cool. It inspires everyone to do their best and not compare their performance to others. I didn't feel the pressure as much as I did in high school.

I live and study in Japan.

I go to college in NY and when I was first going to begin I was really scared but anxious at the same time. You are thrown into a huge environment with completely new kids, not like your smalltown high school group. Once I got to know people, I loved it and I still love college to this day. No one cares who is popular and who is doing what you are just your own person. I've made a couple of the best friends of my life at college and now I'm sad I have to graduate in May!

I live in the US. I went to a community college, which wasn't any harder than high school, before going to my current university. I think that a lot of college students drink a whole lot, but I choose to work hard instead. I find it very rewarding and will be starting graduate study in chemistry this month.

I thought more highly of college students before I entered college. I had more respect for fields like philosophy and English before I began college. Also, I thought lowly of community college when I was in high school and aspiring to go to $30,000/year colleges, but now I think that community college is a good alternative to two years of weeder-out intro courses that have hundreds of students in them.
