When asking a professor to write you a letter of recommendation for Graduate school, is it appropriate to give them a listing (in writing) of things you felt you learned/accomplished in their class? For example, writing a literature review, exposure to doing oral presentations, etc?
I want to give them this list with a copy of all the papers I submitted to them, and hopefully they'll incorporate the things I mentioned in this "list" in my letter.
What do you think?

....Right after graduating with your Bachelor's?
How important is work experience (especially if you're going into business school)?

Are your chances still competitive enough to get into a top program?

All 3 are AACSB accred. so I think they are all good. The biggest difference is the time & cost. For part-time, MD and Howard both require 54 cr., 3 yrs, class 2-4 days a week, & $30K+. Baltimore would only be 33 cr. since I can get 21 cr. waived due to my BS. I can finish in less than 2 years going to school once a week and doing online classes and it would cost much less. I'm doing my BS. full time while working a full-time job so I don't mind a lot of work. BUT I have a son and feel like I'm neglecting him when I'm in class all week. Plus, my hubby and I want another child so I'm sure Howard and Maryland would be quite a challenge with a job and 2 young kids. At least with Baltimore I can do classes online if I needed to.

My job will pay most of my tuition at MD and Baltimore but none at Howard. My GPA is a 3.89 so I'm sure I can get scholarships but not 30K+!

What's a girl to do? I really want Howard but is it worth all the time and $$$? Should I just go to Baltimore?

My current gpa is a 3.3, I'm usuall a 3.5 but algebra 2 and chemistry had alot to do with it. The University of Michigan only takes students thats 3.5 or beyond. So if I get a high score on the ACT say 25 will that get me accepted? I need some insight, I really apperciate it. Thanks.

I got accepted to the University of Texas Austin as a freshman applicant and this is what they wrote on my acceptance letter. On the applytexas form I filled out online, I only put pre-pharmacy as a major. Can someone who goes to this school or knows about this help me out and give me some advice.
