fashion design?

Question

my first choice on fashion design schools is parsons.what are the pros and cons about it?even the people you'll be surrounded w/.(how brutal is it to be on the fashion world starting from you're portfolio and so on.) and any other suggestions on schools.

Stephens College has an excellent fashion program plus it is a full four year liberal arts college so you get the best of both worlds, and a B.A. or B.F.A. in Fashion that you can use in that career or any other. I had friends in that program who graduated and went on to successful careers in fashion. I had another friend who used her fashion degree to become a state government lobbyist. So there's a lot of options.
