She's not a trouble maker or gets in trouble she is just giving up. I don't make alot of money and we live with my parents just need to find help to send her to a good school where she can get the best education. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

What, if any, impact does this have on recent graduates with existing student loans in terms of consolidation? I have not yet consolidated and am wondering if there's an advantage/disadvantage to doing so now vs in the future.

I have a Master's degree but I really need to get my MSW. I am 62 and might work for another ten or more years, but I can't really afford to stop working to go back to school and need some financial assistance.

I received the full amount for a Pell Grant and I was thinking of withdrawing from a class. Do I need to repay anything or will I be denied later? The class started in August and it's November now in case that makes a difference. Also, I'm full-time right now

I read somewhere that I could receive up to 18,500 a year in Financial Aid for Graduate school. I work full time and made some good money last year, but only enough to survive really. Is this 18,500 bases on financial need, or is it available to anyone no matter what the income level you earned in a year?

I want to take the semester off and work and get scholarships. But will regular scholarships sent to the school pay it off? It will be about 13 grand. I won't go into it, but i thought i was set for the year and ended up not getting the money because of a sudden incident and decided to go anyway. I'm not crying over this I'll get through it, but will this work?

I am 20 years old and going to a community college in Texas. I do NOT have a good relationship with my mother. I have lived on my own and supported myself for 3 years. I was living on my own my senior year of high school and now 2 years in college. We talk maybe 3 times a years and it is difficult to get her to fill out my Fasa (financial Aid) once I finally do get her to fill it out. I am denied any help by the school because they base it all on her income. I am like most college students and am broke. I live with a friend, and am working at a YMCA. I need help with tuition, but my school has tried to tell me that there is no way that I can file without using my moms income and tax info. She has not contributed to any part of my schooling and for that matter has not given me any sort or financial help in 3 years. My grandparents have helped when they can, but are retired and can’t help much longer. I recently had to call CPS over some abuse that my sister told me about and n

I just found out that my parents had drained the account that had been previously stored for my college tuition because of financial strains. I'm not a very bright kid so I probably won't get any scholarships big enough to grant me a full tuition. I can work, but it won't be enough and I can't apply for financial help because I'm not a legal citizen. I'm really out of ideas and I need some help.

I'm hoping to get into vet school next fall, but with massive undergrad loans to pay off, I wanted to know if, other than getting even more impossible-to-pay private loans, there are any good options. I assume government loans and grants will be limited.
