I'm hoping to get into vet school next fall, but with massive undergrad loans to pay off, I wanted to know if, other than getting even more impossible-to-pay private loans, there are any good options. I assume government loans and grants will be limited.

Unfortunately, the only federal help is student loans. Some vet schools do offer scholarships, so it is worth your while to fill out the FAFSA form. You will qualify as an independent student since you are in graduate or veterinary school. There are some college scholarships out there. I recommend start searching and applying now using a variety of different sources. Apply for any scholarship you qualify for no matter the amount because it will add up. I will list some free resources to locate college tuition money. Good luck!

I'm not a vet but I have an advanced degree...GI bill paid for most of it, me working my a$$ off paid for the rest of it...when i graduated I had zero payments...not sure where all this school loan crap came from...get a damn job and pay for your schooling when you take it...or join the marines and see the world, meet new peoples and kill them...!!!
