I just found out that my parents had drained the account that had been previously stored for my college tuition because of financial strains. I'm not a very bright kid so I probably won't get any scholarships big enough to grant me a full tuition. I can work, but it won't be enough and I can't apply for financial help because I'm not a legal citizen. I'm really out of ideas and I need some help.

If you really need to got to college--then try some of the other answers--most are good.

A college degree it NOT some magic carpet to wealth.
You need talent to go with it. There are many many people with degrees that never use them They wasted 4 years and big $ to get it. There are cashiers ,mechanics and carpenters with degrees. You need to find something your are good at and then find a market for it. Start your own business. You will never make a lot of money working for someone else.

After 31 years with a large company--I started my own company and competed with them. Thirteen years later I'm a multimillionaire.
And I don't have a college degree. Lost of educating for my field of electronics.

Remember the richest man in the world--Bill Gates doesn't have a degree.

My friend spent 8 years in night schools (got a degree in marketing) and wound up collecting tolls on the NJ turnpike.

Work for yourself and get rich.
Don't try getting rich from selling Amway.

Sweety there is always a loop hole you can get a scholarship (maybe on a full tuition) that will be paid to you for up to four years for school for your nationality or race.
Not a legal citizen ha....Were you born here? Were you adopted? Were you in any clubs or organizations in high school? Is there something that you are really talented in doing?
And who told you you could get financial aid?
Yeah whatever,

Check this go to the fafsa site and try if that doesn't work try the student aid site on the faafsa site and if that doesn't work try the united states department of education.

If none of this works try applying for college as a foreign exchange student or an out of state student. There is so much free money that it is a shame.
You CAN get an education if that is what you want but you may have to take the teofl test. A test of your knowledge and citizenship.

Don't give up and if you need more help repost a new question including your e-mail and place rede4collg or contact me at perspectivecollegestudent@yahoo.com or a324522814e3@email.phoenix.edu

PLEASE don't give up education is possible.

What I did was I went to school part time at a local community college and I worked part to full time to pay the tuition. When I finished my two year degree I transferred to a four year university that would accept the credits I had earned from the community college. If you are going to do this you need to make sure the university you want to go to will accept the credits from the community college you are going to go to.

Another option you have that didn't exist for me is online classes. I would choose carefully and only go with an accredited school that also has a traditional school for classes.

Unless you win the lottery, I would suggest a plan of working full time and going to school part time. Many people have had to go to college this way.
