What LEGIT grants and whatnot can i get? I tried searching and searching for things, but most of them i've found on the net have that 'too good to be true' ring to them...any info will help me loads..tyvm :D

Try scholarships, if you can get them they are your best option. Try http://www.FastWeb.com to find good ones. They are always updating so it is easy to skim through them for ones you want and can use. I would suggest doing as many as possible, and for any denomination, for the greatest chance of getting any money. Even 500 bucks will help pay for books.

The first and only place to locate government grants is at the official FAFSA website. It is based on a percentage of your income and savings. I also recommend joining several free membership websites to apply for scholarships. I will include some informational websites along with the official FAFSA website and free scholarship search websites that I recommend. Good luck!

Set up a fund?
What are you really good at?
If you're particularly good at something- eg. sports, math, etc, you COULD get a scholarship to a college.
best of luck^^
