I am a bit confused about how should I interpre these two questions on my scholarship apps.

1) if you had the educatnio and opportunities, how would you use your leadership to make a difference?

2) what opportunities would enable you to become the leader you aspire to be?

i graduate from high school may '08, but i'm starting to look for scholarships right now. i'm a concurrent student and i will enter a university as a sophomore fall '08. i'll be 17, i'm white, medium income family, only child...

i was in band my freshman and sophomore year, i managed the football team my junior year, and i have a part time job. i'm in the national honor society and i make straight a's.

i'm having problems finding scholarships because i'm not a minority. i'm getting financial aid from the state (OHLAP) and i'll get fafsa. and so far thats it.

my parents don't have any money saved and i'm starting to save right now.

*i can't get freshman scholarships because i'm a concurrent student*

I attend the a University that tution cost $6,890 a semeister. Would they pay it all that does include housing on campus and books

i know how a debt consolidation company works and once they pay off my debt i pay them back in monthly payments.

But do they help/offer helping you pay off your child support debt and student loans?

My friend is in a RT program. She has 3 semesters left. Just before clinicals she found out she was no longer eligible for FAFSA if she continued @ her current school. The school she attends has a habit of taking themselves off student loan list. For example she found a student loan site on the internet and applied and used that to pay for last semester. She reffered others to the same site. This semester her school is no longer on their list. What can she do now. A private loan is out because she can't repay until she finishes school. She pulls double shifts at a hospital on the weekends 32hrs. every week. She also works after class Mon-Fri. and is rasing and is rasing a little boy. Where can she find the money to finish school?

I'm a junior in high school now and atteding both college and high school. I took the GED practice test to see if I could pass it easly. I exceeded with the test and people say that I should go on with the GED test to be finished with high school and just move on with college. I'm a little afraid that a University might not accept a GED. I know that people can attend college even without a high school diploma. I would rather go on with my career and recieve my Phd faster rather than worry about one more year in high school. So with getting my GED does it make me look less smart? Can I recieve scholarships and grants with a GED?

This Isn't A Request 4 Funds! This Is a Request For Information about how to most quickly secure emergency funds.
My son is in the Army. He's a recruit, heading to his first assigment, He's roughly one step down from being a surgical RN.
His skills are vital to our nation, and he's my only child.
He doesn't have enough $$ to sleep in a rented room on his way to his assignment, so he is sleeping in his truck on the way.
How would you suggest that I go about seeking funds online?
I'm sure I could raise the young man $500 or $1,000 in an hour or two, If I knew how.
Help? suggestions?
