I spend about $150/month. (I'm a single female in her early 20's). It kind of depends what you eat though. Sadly, it really is more expensive to eat healthy than to eat bad. Fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, and unprepared foods tend to be more expensive than living off of top ramen and pasta roni. If you don't really like to cook much, then you should also take into account how often you go out to eat. I spend about $100 a month going out to eat in addition to the $150 that I spend at the store.
