Maybe you could work for the school paper, I think they pay a little bit. Also you could be a model (posing for art class). Hopefully you won't have to pose nude.

You could go around and ask all the teachers if they need any help grading papers, that you don't charge much. Let them know from the get-go, that you WILL be expecting money in return.(that you are not just wanting to do it for grades or out of the goodness of your heart). Let them know you need money and ask professors if there is anything you can do for money. I bet one or two of them can come up with some errands for you to do.

You could also get an after-school, part-time job at a local grocery store or nursing home or hospital, etc. You could work in the kitchen doing dishes and stuff. I did it, it's fun to work in the kitchen!

Purse Party

This would be a great thing for a college student to do b/c you could get a lot of sales on campus!

It's a lot of fun and the average purse party is $400...you get paid 30% commission the night of the party so you get $120 for about 3 hours of work! There are no minimum sales quotas and you do the parties when you want. You can also do catalog parties and you are provided with a website that you get the same commissions from. You have no inventory just a few samples to carry and they are tax deductable.

If you are interested you can go to my site and read all the details

I attended undergraduate school in LA in the early 80's. I earned money from April through September or October selling ice creme at Zuma Beach, On the weekend, I would fill a light weight cooler with dry ice, popsicles, ice creme sandwiches and frozen yogurt. I tanned while walking up and down the beach selling products. I loved the beach, loved the sun and loved the exercise. At other times, I made sandwiches and salads and sold them at lunch time to people in offices. Both jobs brought in a lot of cash without spending a lot of time, although I did get a lot of parking tickets when I was selling the sandwiches! The other benefit of both businesses was the physical activity since being a student is so sedentary. Good luck.

eBay is a good option. You can work on your schedule and do as much as you need or want to. You can fit eBay in around other things in your life. I am an eBay Silver Level Powerseller and have sold 12,000 items. My monthly profit averages $3500.

You will find this guide helpful in getting started on eBay.

This guide explains what kinds of things to sell, where to find them, how to use eBay, about shipping, and how to get started immediately, with no financial investment. I started off selling things I already had and it only costs a few dollars to cover the listing fees.

Best of luck to you!

If your school has a psychology department, start signing up for paid experiments. Go to the psychology building, likely, they will have flyers posted asking for experiment subjects.
