so,what do i have to all do for that to happen?i am in debt,so how could i get a grant or financial help of some kind?

You need to apply for college and fill out a FAFSA form, from which they determine what your level of need is. If you have been living at home, it isn't yours, but your parents' income that they will look at. They decide what kind of contribution you should make toward your own education, and then, depending upon your situation, you get a package of loans (and grants, if you qualify) to cover the rest.

Well - first visit the college you want to go to - make an appointment

someone will meet with you*perhaps as a group* to walk you
through the steps - they should provide information on scholarships/
grants that may be available, and also what a student loan entails

They should show you how to apply for all the above, along with
the requirements

Hopefully you did well on your SAT's and have a great GPA

you will need your parents tax information, since you are still a dependent student, to complete a fasfa application. However, if you are married,have kids, or parents decease (both parents), then you will be considered a independent student.
