I have an apartment, I have a car, bills. etc. I usually work full time and go to school part time. But now that I'm laid off, and this Part time semester has started there's no way for me to go full time, especially since next semester I'm going to a different school for my Bachelor's. Is there such a thing, as living allowances, loans, and things of the sort, that could help me finish school, and take care of my family. I don't have any family or parents, or anything like that I can depend on so that's not an option. I live in Massachusetts, if that helps. Don't tell me to look on the internet, or check with my school, because I already have. Real respectul and informative answers are appreciated.

I filled out my girlfriends taxes. She received financial aid last year and I was under the impression that the money received from financial aid did not fall under the category of income when filing a federal tax return. Can anybody help?

My friend needs to earn $3000 by next summer but she is going to be 15 next month and her mom isn't willing to help too much, (she isn't the best mom in terms of financial aid). I know all about yard work and all but that isn't enough, what do you think?

On my current fafsa I had two schools registered. I was attending my last semester of junior college and then I began at a university. They covered my tuition for my semester at the junior college which was like $600.00. My parental contribution on my fafsa was $6500.00. I assumed if they would cover that they would help me with my university tuition. but when I started they informed me that financial aide would cover nothing even though my tuition for one semester is close to $10,000.00. Does this seem strange to anyone else, because I am bewildered and completely losing it trying to figure out how to pay all of this money. And on top of it they told me that because i am not married i am still considered a dependent of my parents so they are only giving me 2500.00 in student loans and I have to figure out how to come up with the rest of it. I hate money!

This is for a health care class I'm in. I'm wondering if there's a program kind of like Teach for America, but for doctors. Doctors would agreed to teach in underprivileged areas for a certain number of years, and would receive money that could go towards paying off medical school loans?

Big bonus points if I can get the answer within the next hour and a half, because that's when my class starts.
