How can you earn $3000 in one year if your 15?

My friend needs to earn $3000 by next summer but she is going to be 15 next month and her mom isn't willing to help too much, (she isn't the best mom in terms of financial aid). I know all about yard work and all but that isn't enough, what do you think?

Most states will allow a 15 year old to get working papers (you can get them from your school's administrative offices) and she can get a summer job. And for during the school year, babysitting

- Babysitting
- Deliver Newspapers
- Chores for Neighbors
- Buy and Sell Crafts
- Fundraising like car washes.
- Can look in newspaper, some jobs say any age apply, they are few and far between but do exist.
- If there are local places in your town/city try talking with them. They may hire someone for an hour or two a day. Local means not a corporation like wal mart etc...

Most grocery stores will hire baggers at age 14. You're limited at that age to working only on weekends, until you turn 16 at which point you may work evenings as well. Your friend could work as many hours as she is allowed in order to make the money she needs.

Other than that, there is babysitting... that's a goldmine.

When your friend turns 16 tell her to join any fast food restaurant (Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Burger King , KFC) and work like 10 hours a week and that will bring her around $3,500 in a year.
