I have an apartment, I have a car, bills. etc. I usually work full time and go to school part time. But now that I'm laid off, and this Part time semester has started there's no way for me to go full time, especially since next semester I'm going to a different school for my Bachelor's. Is there such a thing, as living allowances, loans, and things of the sort, that could help me finish school, and take care of my family. I don't have any family or parents, or anything like that I can depend on so that's not an option. I live in Massachusetts, if that helps. Don't tell me to look on the internet, or check with my school, because I already have. Real respectul and informative answers are appreciated.

OK I already have filed for unemployment, my son goes to school, I already have after school day care which is paid for. Unemployment will end in the summer, so I suppose I want to know for after the summer, next semester. When I have to go to work Full time again.

You might want to look at the postings on the college board for other women with children. It is possible to share child care when you go to school and you help her out when she goes to school. There also may be some opportunity for you to earn life credits for college credits. Each college is different on how they apply credits in this area. You may already know this information, but maybe it will be helpful for you.

I would file for unemployment and then go over to the division of family services and get vendor care for the child (they pay for daycare)... Hopefully you've already filled out the FAFSA form?
