There exists a document one can fill out online called the FAFSA, which you can access at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This document, which is sent to the schools of your choice, assists the college in assessing your financial eligibility. But in order to fill it out, you need the PIN which you can get at www.pin.ed.gov, and one of your parents needs one too. Also fill out the CSS PROFILE, a more in-depth version of the FAFSA, which you can get at collegeboard.com in the 'For Students' section. You need your(if you work) or your parents' 2006 Tax returns to properly fill these out. Sending these to the colleges of your choice will assure assessment of your financial ability to pay for college. If your income is extremely low, then you can apply for the HEOP program, which included in college application forms, helps one significantly to pay for college, if qualified.

There are several different forms that can help you pay for College. You can apply for grants that your State has, which can be provided by the Administrator of the College that you are wanting to attend.

Least, that's where I recieved my information for my grants. Also ask for a FASFA if you haven't already. You could also check out your College website for further information as far as grants go.

Hopefully that helps!
Good Luck!

Contact the financial aid offices at the universities you plan to apply to. They'll have the information you need specific to that school.
